A backup solution is always included in our Interconnect Cloud. However, what if your IT staff wants to have control over backup restoration or if you have particular preferences about the retention period? In this case you automatically use the more extensive configuration options, where the RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective) are determined by you.There are two versions of Veeam IaaS Backup: managed and self-service.

Managed

In this version, our experts will work with you to create a backup strategy. Looking at your organization's needs, we give you fitting advice on the best course of action. Interconnect will do backup restores for you whenever needed.

Self-service

With the Veeam Self-Service Portal, your IT department can create backup tasks and perform restores without the intervention of Interconnect personnel. In addition, the portal provides insights via dashboards into the VMs that have been backed up, which backup tasks have been created and how much storage is in use.
