Choice for Interconnect

In order to provide customers with reliable cloud services, Avensus has been working with Interconnect for several years, from which it purchases both colocation and cloud services. Werts: “We previously worked with another partner in the middle of the country, but at a certain point we were looking for a data center supplier that was physically located close to our office in Weert. And just like us, innovation was high on the agenda. Interconnect turned out to be that party. After our first visit to the data center in Eindhoven, we were impressed by the way this data center was set up. Moreover, Interconnect was immediately ready to start working with us. Furthermore, the lines of communication were short and we are comparable in terms of size and approach. That created a click from the start.”

Shift

With the Everwork platform, Avensus is responding to an important shift in the way organizations deal with their IT. Werts: “Ten years ago, an IT manager would regularly buy new equipment and technology was paramount. Now it’s all about supporting the end user in the best possible way. That’s where it starts. The technology you use to do that is step two.”

Grow

Werts calls Interconnect's services flexible, innovative and reliable. "Security also plays a crucial role. We regularly take customers to Interconnect's data centers in Eindhoven and Den Bosch, so that they can see with their own eyes how strong the security is implemented." Werts is also positive about the growth that Interconnect is realizing in terms of the capacity of the data centers. "We are seeing more and more customers switching to cloud services. Thanks to Interconnect's investments and expansions in their data centers, we can accommodate that well. We always receive optimal support. Our engineers can always reach Interconnect's specialists, even in the evening or at the weekend if necessary. That is very valuable to us."
